Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp apple jelly
  • 4 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 1.5 kg pickled pork ham roll roast
  • 2 tbsp clarified butter
  • Pineapple (as desired asparagus, carrots, broccoli, mashed potatoes...)
  • Vegetables (as desired asparagus, carrots, broccoli, mashed potatoes...)

Instructions

    Warm the apple jelly, stir in lemon juice and cayenne pepper to make a glaze. Rinse the ham roast under cold water and pat dry. In a roasting pan heat clarified butter, sear the meat all around. Add 200 ml water. Brush the roast with some glaze and bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for 90 minutes, brushing with glaze repeatedly.

    For serving, decorate the roast with pineapple slices, cut into portions, and arrange with vegetables as desired.
