Halibut with Fruits

Ingredients

  • 2 untreated lemons
  • 800 g black halibut (whole, ready to cook)
  • Salt
  • 2 red chili peppers
  • 2 Kiwis
  • 250 g yogurt
  • Salt
  • pepper (ground)
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

Instructions

    Wash the lemons; squeeze juice from one and slice the other into rounds.

    Rinse the fish and pat dry. Cut into four pieces, season with salt, and drizzle with 2 tbsp lemon juice. Line a steamer basket with parchment paper and place the fish inside. Bring about 1 cm of water to a boil in an appropriate pot, add the steamer basket, cover, and steam over high heat for about 5 minutes.

    Wash the chili peppers, slit lengthwise and deseed, then slice into thin rings. Peel the kiwis and cut into slices. Season the yogurt with salt, pepper, vanilla essence, and lemon juice.

    Arrange the fish on a plate or individual plates. Top with lemon rounds and kiwi slices. Drizzle the yogurt over the fish and sprinkle with chili rings. Serve with jasmine rice if desired.
