Grilled Trout in Foil

Grilled trout wrapped in foil tastes great again – try this simple recipe from Spoonsparrow!

Ingredients

  • 4 small trout (ready to cook)
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 sprigs sage
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1.5 lemons (organic)
  • 1 tomato (firm)
  • Salt
  • ground pepper

Instructions

    Wash the trout and pat dry; season inside and out with salt and pepper. Peel and finely chop the onion, then stuff it into each trout.

    Brush four sheets of foil with oil and place the trout on them. Wash the lemons, slice into eight pieces, squeeze the remaining juice over the fish, and wrap in foil. Grill the trout for about 10 minutes per side on a hot grill.
