Grilled Skewers with Meat and Bell Peppers

- 3 onions
- 2 Garlic cloves
- thyme
- 600 g sirloin steak
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 yellow bell pepper
- Salt
- freshly ground pepper

Peel the onions. Dice one onion finely. Peel and dice the garlic. Rinse the thyme, shake dry, and strip leaves from stems. Mix onion, garlic, thyme, and 3 tbsp olive oil. Cut sirloin into cubes. Rub with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.

Quarter the bell peppers, clean, rinse, and cut into pieces. Peel remaining onions and slice into wedges. Thread pepper pieces and onion wedges onto lightly oiled skewers.

Thread meat cubes onto lightly oiled skewers as well. Grill meat skewers in a hot grill pan around 10-12 minutes, seasoning with salt and pepper. Brush pepper skewers with the remaining oil and grill for 5 minutes. Plate together. Serve with a yogurt dip.
