Ingredients

  • 4 raw giant shrimp (headless, shell on)
  • 1 untreated lemon
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • mizuna (for garnish)

Instructions

    Wash the giant shrimp and peel them so that the tail fins remain. Make a lengthwise cut to about halfway and remove the digestive tract.

    Wash the lemon and slice it into rounds. Mix the olive oil with the lemon zest. Brush the shrimp with the olive oil mixture. Grill the lemons and shrimp on a preheated grill from all sides for about 8 minutes, seasoning with salt and pepper. Plate and garnish with mizuna salad. A salsa sauce pairs well.
