Grilled Seafood Skewers

Spoonsparrow grilled seafood skewers taste great and score with healthy fats and muscle‑strengthening protein.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices sea bass fillet
  • 4 squid tubes
  • 8 large shrimp
  • 2 lemons
  • 6 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 slices toast bread
  • 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • 4 tbsp ajvar
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 2 tbsp Sour cream
  • 2 tbsp salad mayonnaise
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

    Grate zest from one half of a lemon and juice the other half. Mix both with salt, pepper and olive oil.

    Wash fish, pat dry. Wash squid, pat dry, cut crosswise in halves. Wash shrimp, pat dry.

    Let everything marinate for 1 hour.

  4. 4.

    For the dip, crumble toast bread into small cubes and drizzle with 2 tbsp oil and 1 tsp vinegar.

    Mix bread cubes with ajvar, peel garlic, squeeze it in, then stir in 2 tbsp lemon juice, sour cream and mayonnaise. Season with salt and pepper.

    Remove fish from the marinade, skewer alternately on wooden sticks, brush again with marinade and grill under the oven broiler for 5 minutes, turning halfway.

    Cut remaining lemon into wedges and serve with dip alongside the grilled seafood skewers.
