Grilled Scallops

A delicious gourmet starter that brings the grilled scallops of Spoonsparrow to your table.

Ingredients

  • 12 scallops (with coral and shell, prepared by fishmonger)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 0.5 lemon (juiced)
  • 1 tbsp wormwood
  • 100 ml best olive oil
  • 0.25 bunch parsley (chopped)
  • Salt
  • white pepper

Instructions

    Halve the garlic cloves and rub the well‑washed shells with them, placing one scallop in each shell.

    Mix all ingredients for the marination together and distribute over the scallops.

    Let the scallops sit with the marination for 5 minutes, then place on well‑preheated grill coals and cook for about 5–8 minutes.

    Arrange grilled scallops with shells on plates and serve with salad and bread.
