Grilled Pork Fillets
Grilled pork fillets from Spoonsparrow: The chili and orange marination gives a special twist!
Ingredients
- 1 Organic Orange
- 2 red chilies
- 0.5 lime
- 2 tbsp oil (+ oil for grilling)
- 2 tbsp tomato paste (15 g)
- 1.2 kg pre-cooked pork fillet (2 pre-cooked pork fillets)
Instructions

Wash, dry and finely grate the zest of the orange. Juice the orange.

Halve the chilies lengthwise, remove seeds, wash and finely chop them. Juice the lime.

Combine the prepared ingredients with 1 tbsp oil, lime juice and tomato paste; mix well and place in a sealable freezer bag.

Pat the pork fillets dry and place them in the marination; seal the bag and thoroughly shake to coat the fillets. Marinate for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator.

Remove the pork fillets from the marination and let them drain. Grill over medium heat on a lightly oiled grill, turning occasionally, for about 15 minutes (or slightly longer if needed).

Let the grilled pork fillets rest wrapped in aluminum foil for 5 minutes before slicing. They pair well with grilled melon relish.
