Grilled Pineapple

Grilled pineapple with piment, coconut and maple syrup. Grilling pineapple means exotic fruit enjoyment from the grill!

Ingredients

  • 5 piment seeds
  • 15 g whole cane sugar (1 tbsp)
  • 4 tbsp shredded coconut
  • 1 pineapple
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp Maple Syrup

Instructions

    Crush the piment in a mortar and mix with the sugar.

    Toast the coconut flakes in a dry pan until golden. Let them cool on a plate.

    Peel the pineapple, slice into 2 cm thick rounds, and brush lightly with oil.

  4. 4.

    Quickly grill each side of the pineapple slices over high heat; after flipping sprinkle with the piment-sugar mixture. Arrange the grilled slices on a platter. Drizzle maple syrup over the pineapple and top with toasted coconut flakes.
