Ingredients

  • 1 onion
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 1 bunch parsley
  • 100 g feta cheese
  • 2 Bell peppers
  • 600 g ground meat
  • 2 tbsp quark
  • Salt
  • black pepper (freshly ground)
  • 0.5 tsp mustard
  • 2 tbsp parmesan
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 onion
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1 pinch Cinnamon powder
  • 1 tsp tomato paste
  • 8 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt
  • black pepper (freshly ground)
  • 600 g turkey breast fillet
  • 2 red onions

Instructions

    For the meatball skewers, peel and finely dice the onion. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Wash, dry, and chop the parsley. Cut the feta into 24 small cubes. Wash the bell peppers, halve them, and remove seeds. Cut each half into six pieces.

    Mix ground meat with quark, salt, pepper, mustard, parsley, onion, garlic, and parmesan. Wrap each feta cube in the meat mixture and shape into balls. Alternate threading the balls and pepper pieces onto skewers, brushing with oil. Grill the skewers for about 10‑12 minutes, turning several times.

    For the turkey kebab, peel and finely mince the onion. Grate lemon zest and squeeze out the juice. Combine onion, thyme, oregano, cinnamon, tomato paste, olive oil, salt, pepper, lemon juice, and zest.

    Cut the turkey breast into cubes and mix with the marinade, covering for about 3 hours. Peel the red onions and cut each into long slivers. Drain the meat. Brush the onions with the drained marinade. Alternate threading meat and onions onto skewers. Grill for 10‑12 minutes, turning several times.
