Grilled Mango with Mint Sauce

The grilled mango with mint sauce from Spoonsparrow is super refreshing and perfect as a grill dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 Green Chili Pepper
  • 80 g mint (4 bunches)
  • 10 g ginger (1 piece)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp agave syrup
  • 6 tbsp yogurt (3.5% fat)
  • 4 ripe mangoes

    Wash the chili pepper, cut it lengthwise, deseed, remove the white inner skin and dice finely. Wash the mint, shake dry and roughly chop the leaves. Peel the ginger and dice finely. Add the chili cubes, mint, lemon juice, ginger, agave syrup and 2 tbsp water to a blender and blend vigorously. Fold in the yogurt, season and chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.

    Peel the mangoes, separate the flesh from the pit and cut into bite‑sized pieces. Grill the mango pieces on a preheated grill until golden brown. Skewer the mango pieces as desired and serve with the mint sauce.
