Grilled Lemon Chicken

Ingredients
- 1.4 kg chicken (1 whole chicken)
- Salt
- black pepper (freshly ground)
- honey (1 tbsp each)
- sherry (1 tbsp each)
- 12 small potatoes
- 1 bunch thyme
- 6 tbsp oil
- 3 lemons

Wash and pat the chicken dry.

Heat one lemon, grate its zest, mix half of the zest with honey, 2 tbsp oil, a pinch of salt and pepper, then rub this mixture all over the chicken.

Slice the remaining lemons into rounds and stuff them inside the chicken cavity.

Tie the legs together with kitchen twine and cross the wings on the back.

Place the prepared chicken on a covered grill. Turn it frequently so that it cooks evenly from all sides.

Wash the potatoes and pierce their skins with a fork. Drizzle with 2 tbsp oil, season with salt, and add thyme sprigs; after 30 minutes place them on the grill with the chicken.

During the last 10 minutes drizzle the asparagus with 2 tbsp oil, season it, and add it to the grill as well. Turn both items several times.
