Grilled Hot Dogs

Ingredients

  • 0.25 cabbage (approx. 200 g)
  • 0.25 sugar beet salad (approx. 200 g)
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 3 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • Salt
  • 4 red sausages
  • 4 hot dog buns (or baguette rolls)
  • 80 g grated cheddar
  • ketchup

Instructions

    Wash the cabbage and sugar beet salad, then shred or slice into fine strips. Season with sugar, vinegar, and salt, and set aside.

    Preheat the grill and slit the sausages lengthwise. Halve the buns. Grill both sides of each for about 5 minutes.

    Sprinkle roughly 2 tbsp grated cheddar onto each hot bun, place a sausage on top, spread the salad over the hot dogs, and drizzle a little ketchup.
