Grilled Dorade with Dandelion Salad

A grilled dorade fillet served with a fresh dandelion salad and lavender garnish, brought to you by Spoonsparrow!

Ingredients

  • 2 Dorade fillets (≈220 g)
  • Salt
  • black pepper (freshly ground)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 yellow dandelion
  • 1 tbsp White Wine Vinegar
  • 2 stalks lavender flowers
  • yellow lion's mouth flower

Instructions

    Season the fish fillets with salt and black pepper.

    Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil with the butter in a pan and cook each side of the fillets for about 2-3 minutes.

    Whisk the remaining oil with white wine vinegar, salt, and pepper, then mix with the dandelion pieces.

    Plate the fish fillets, arrange lavender flowers on top, and serve with the dandelion salad and yellow lion's mouth flower garnish.
