Grilled Ciabatta with Kalahari Truffle and Avocado

Ingredients

  • 8 slices ciabatta
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 Avocados
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt
  • 80 g Kalahari truffle
  • Pepper
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • Cress (for garnish)

Instructions

    Drizzle the ciabatta slices with a little oil and grill them in a hot skillet until golden brown. Peel, halve, pit, and slice the avocados thinly. Drizzle with lemon juice and 2 tbsp olive oil, then season with salt.

    Clean the truffle thoroughly and slice it. Briefly sauté the truffle slices in the remaining oil, seasoning with salt and pepper.

    Peel and halve the garlic clove. Rub the garlic halves onto the toasted bread, then arrange the avocado slices on top. Cover with truffle slices and garnish with cress before serving.
