Ingredients

  • 4 chicory heads
  • 500 g heirloom tomatoes
  • olive oil
  • 1 lemon (juice)
  • Salt
  • black pepper (freshly ground)
  • fresh marjoram (for garnish)

Instructions

    Wash, trim and halve the chicory. Drizzle with half of the lemon juice, brush with olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and grill both sides for about 5-6 minutes.

    Wash, trim and slice the tomatoes. Combine with remaining lemon juice and 3 tablespoons olive oil. Season with salt and pepper, then sprinkle with marjoram and arrange on a plate.

    Place the grilled chicory alongside and serve.
