Ingredients

  • 500 g chicken breast fillet (or pork if desired, or rabbit or lamb kidneys)
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1 lemon (unprocessed)
  • oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • 8 skewers

Instructions

    Cut the meat into bite‑size cubes: (halve or finely chop the kidneys, rinse them in fresh water multiple times and pat dry).

    Wash, trim, halve, deseed, remove all white membranes from the peppers and cut into about 2 cm pieces.

  3. 3.

    Wash lemon hot, dry it, slice into rounds and quarter each slice again.

  4. 4.

    Thread meat, pepper, and lemon pieces alternately onto skewers and grill over high heat for about 4–5 minutes total, seasoning with salt and pepper.
