Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp cognac
  • 4 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • Pepper
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 800 g beef round
  • 2 green bell peppers
  • 400 g cherry tomatoes
  • oil (for the grill)
  • wooden skewers

Instructions

    Cut the beef into about 1.5-2 cm cubes, add the ingredients for the marination and refrigerate for at least an hour. Meanwhile wash, trim, halve, deseed, remove white skin from the peppers and cut them into ~2 cm cubes; wash the tomatoes.

    Thread the beef, tomatoes and pepper pieces alternately onto the skewers, drizzle with remaining marinade and keep cool until grilling. Grill the skewers on all sides until charred, keeping the meat pink inside!

    Serve with fresh baguette and salad.
