Grilled Beef Skewers

Ingredients

  • 500 g beef (from the loin)
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 red chili pepper
  • 3 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp Sesame oil
  • 1 stalk leek
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 50 g ginger
  • hoisin sauce

Instructions

    Cut the meat along the grain into 3 cm thick strips, then cut into 1 cm thick slices. Peel the garlic, wash and halve the chili pepper, remove seeds, and finely chop both. Mix them with soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Add the meat and marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

    Wash the leek, split lengthwise, and cut into 3-4 cm pieces. Wash, trim, and cube the bell pepper. Peel and thinly slice the ginger. Alternate threading the meat and vegetables onto wooden skewers and grill over high heat for about 5 minutes. Serve with hoisin sauce.
