Grilled Beef Skewers

Ingredients
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 3 Tbsp plant oil
- 1 tbsp honey
- 100 ml meat broth
- 2 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 40 g ketchup
- chili powder
- Salt
- Pepper
- 600 g beef (e.g., sirloin or round)
- 1 yellow bell pepper
- 1 red vegetable onion

Peel the garlic cloves. Heat the oil and press the garlic into it. Sauté briefly, then add honey and let lightly caramelize. Deglaze with broth and stir until the honey has dissolved. Stir in soy sauce and ketchup and simmer the sauce for about 15 minutes. Season with chili powder, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat and let cool.

Rinse the meat, pat dry, and cut into ~3 cm cubes. Wash the bell pepper, halve it, remove seeds and white membranes, and roughly cube. Peel the onion and also cut into large cubes. Alternate threading meat and vegetables onto skewers and brush with the marinade.

Grill on a hot grill for about 8 minutes from all sides.
