Grilled Beef Fillet

Try the grilled beef fillet from Spoonsparrow. A great recipe for everyone who is tired of sausages during grill season.

Ingredients

  • 600 g beef fillet (center cut, ready to cook)
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 sprig rosemary
  • 3 Garlic cloves
  • coarse Sea salt
  • black pepper (freshly ground)

Instructions

    Rinse the beef, pat dry and tie in a shape with kitchen twine. Rub all over with oil. Rinse the rosemary, shake dry and peel the garlic cloves, lightly pressing them.

    Sear the fillet on high heat from all sides. Then cook together with garlic and rosemary at about 120 °C using indirect heat for approximately 25 minutes. Turn regularly to grill evenly. Let it rest wrapped in foil for about 5 minutes. Unwrap, season with salt and pepper, and serve.
