Ingredients
- 4 apples (e.g., Boskop)
- 4 cinnamon sticks
- 40 g soft butter
- 2 tbsp vanilla sugar
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 egg
- 50 g finely ground almond kernels (peeled)
Instructions

Wash the apples and cut off a lid from each. Poke out the stem and insert a cinnamon stick instead. Remove the core (leave the bottom intact) and hollow out the apples. Beat the butter with vanilla sugar and lemon juice until creamy. Stir in the egg, then fold in the almonds. Fill the apples about 3/4 full and replace the lids.

Grill on a hot grill with the lid closed for about 15 minutes.

Serve the grilled apple with egg liqueur if desired.
