Ingredients

  • 50 g butter
  • 200 g long-grain rice
  • 500 ml hot vegetable broth
  • Salt
  • ground pepper

Instructions

    Heat butter in a pot. Sauté the rice until translucent.

    Add the broth and season with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and cover to simmer.

    Let the rice steam for 15–20 minutes. Remove from heat, place a clean kitchen towel between pot and lid to absorb moisture, and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving. Fluff with a fork.
