Ingredients

  • 8 balls of chocolate mint ice cream (e.g., Langnese)
  • 2 untreated oranges
  • 100 g sugar
  • 100 g white grapes
  • 100 g black grapes
  • 80 g sliced almonds
  • 4 chocolate peppermint wafers
  • 2 sprigs of mint
  • powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

    Wash, halve, and pit the grapes for the sauce. Toast the almonds in a dry pan until fragrant. Grate zest from one orange, then juice both oranges.

    Boil orange juice with sugar, reduce slightly. Add grapes and heat briefly. Arrange ice cream on plates, pour warm sauce over it, top with toasted almonds and orange zest. Garnish with mint leaves and fresh mint sprigs.
