Apple Tart with Apricot Jam

Ingredients
- 250 g flour
- 1 EL sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 150 g butter
- 1 egg
- 750 g sour apples
- 450 g apricot jam (1 jar)
- flour (for the work surface)
- fat (for the pan)

Place flour, sugar, salt, butter cubes and egg on a baking board. Quickly knead together. Cover dough and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Then roll out on a floured surface and transfer to a greased tart tin (Ø 24 cm), pulling up the edges. Prick the dough several times with a fork.

Meanwhile wash, dry and peel apples. Halve them and remove cores. Slice into wedges and arrange on the dough. Bake in a preheated oven (electric: 225°C, gas: level 4) for 25 minutes.

Warm apricot jam in a saucepan and spread over the apple wedges. Let the tart cool and serve with whipped cream.
