Ingredients

  • 175 g flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • 75 g butter
  • 2 Eggs (size M)
  • 2 Tbsp hot water
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 100 g flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 50 g ground almonds
  • 30 g melted, cooled butter
  • 600 ml Milk
  • 2 packets Vanilla Pudding Powder
  • 150 g sugar
  • 400 g Cottage Cheese
  • 200 g seedless grapes

Instructions

  1. 1.

Mix flour with baking powder, sugar and vanilla sugar in a bowl. Add the egg and butter pieces. Cut everything with a knife until dry crumbs form. Then quickly knead into a smooth dough by hand. Roll the dough on a floured surface to about the size of a baking sheet (38x28 cm). Wrap the dough in parchment paper and roll it over a greased baking sheet. Press the dough into corners and edges.

  2. 2.

Whisk eggs with water, sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy. Mix flour with baking powder and sift over the egg mixture. Add almonds and butter and stir everything together. Spread the sponge batter over the shortcrust base. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C (gas: level 3‑4, fan: 180 °C) for about 15 minutes.

  3. 3.

Whisk 200 ml milk with pudding powder. Boil remaining milk, stir in the prepared pudding mixture and bring to a boil once more while stirring. Mix in sugar and cottage cheese. Rinse grapes and halve them. Fold into the custard. Spread everything over the sponge base. Bake for another 30 minutes.
