Ingredients
- 200 g butter
- 150 g sugar
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 4 eggs
- 4 tbsp milk
- 400 g flour
- 2 tsp Baking powder

Preheat the oven to 180°C with upper and lower heat. Cream the butter, then gradually fold in the sugar, vanilla sugar, lemon zest, eggs, and milk. Sift the flour with baking powder over the butter mixture and fold gently.

Fill a greased and floured Gugelhupf pan with the batter and bake for 50-55 minutes until golden brown (do the toothpick test). Cover promptly with foil if needed. Remove from oven, let cool, then transfer to a plate. Let Grandma’s moist Gugelhupf cool completely before dusting with powdered sugar and serving.
