Ingredients

  • 1 l water
  • 5 cm fresh ginger

Instructions

  1. 1.

    Peel the ginger and slice it thinly. Add to a pot with water, bring briefly to boil, then simmer over medium heat for 2-3 minutes.

    Strain through a fine sieve into a teapot. Serve hot. Offer candied ginger on the side.
