Ingredients
- 175 g butter
- 175 g powdered sugar
- 3 egg yolks
- 2 Eggs
- 2 tbsp rum
- 10 g freshly grated ginger
- 100 g flour
- 75 g ground walnuts
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1 pinch Cinnamon powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 12 walnut kernels
- 3 figs

Preheat the oven to 180°C fan. Place 12 paper cups into a muffin tin.

Beat the butter and 100 g powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Whisk in the egg yolks, eggs, rum, ginger, and remaining powdered sugar until frothy. Mix flour with walnuts, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Fold the egg mixture into the whipped butter, then stir in the dry ingredients.

Fill the paper cups with batter and bake for about 25 minutes. Remove from oven and take the cups out of the tin. Let cool and serve garnished with a walnut kernel and a quarter fig.
