- 40 g Butter
- 4 slices cheese (e.g., Tilsiter)
- 4 slices turkey ham
- 0.5 cucumber
- 4 pickles
- 2 tbsp cream cheese
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 4 black olives (pitted)
- 1 radish
Instructions
-
1.
Thinly spread the bread slices with butter. On four slices place a slice of cheese and a slice of ham each. Wash the cucumber and cut into thin slices. Set aside eight slices and distribute the remaining cucumber slices over the bread. Place the remaining bread slices on top and press down.

2.
From each side of every sandwich cut a diagonal piece for the wings. The leftover bread piece forms the owl’s head.

3.
Slice the pickles thinly. Spread cream cheese lightly on the owl wings and top with cucumber slices. On each owl head add two small dollops of cream cheese, then place fresh cucumber slices on top. In the center put a small dab of ketchup and arrange half‑cut olives over it.
-
4.
Wash the radish and cut four small triangles for beaks. Press a tiny dot of cream cheese under the eyes. Place the wings onto the owl heads and serve.
