Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 250 g sugar
  • 200 ml sunflower oil
  • 200 ml orange juice
  • 300 g flour
  • 4 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 300 g orange jam
  • 200 g dark chocolate couverture
  • 1 tbsp orange liqueur

Instructions

  1. 1.

    Preheat the oven to 200°C.

  2. 2.

Beat the eggs with the sugar for about 5 minutes until creamy, then stir in the oil, juice, flour, cocoa and baking powder. Pour the batter into a greased springform pan. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes. Test with a toothpick. Remove and cool on a wire rack. Slice the cake horizontally once.

  3. 3.

Spread half of the jam on the base layer, place the top layer on it, then thinly spread jam around the edges. Chop the chocolate couverture. Melt it over a double boiler, stir in the liqueur, let it cool slightly, and cover the cake with this glaze using a palette.
