Fruit Salad with Almond Shavings

Ingredients

  • 600 g strawberries
  • 500 g honeydew melon (1 honeydew melon)
  • 4 kiwis
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 tbsp liquid honey
  • 40 g almond sticks (2 tbsp)

Instructions

    Wash, trim and quarter or halve the strawberries depending on size.

    Halve the melon, remove seeds and scoop out the flesh with a melon baller. Peel the kiwis and slice them. Mix all fruits in a bowl.

    Squeeze the lemon. Drizzle the fruit with lemon juice and honey. Toss well and cover; refrigerate for 30 minutes to infuse flavors.

    Meanwhile, toast the almond sticks in a dry skillet over medium heat until lightly browned, then cool and sprinkle over the salad.
