Ingredients
- 2 Eggs
- 125 ml alcohol-free beer
- 80 g spelt whole-grain flour
- 300 g fresh pineapple slices
- 2 Apples
- 2 Bananas
- vegetable oil (for frying)
- 1 pinch salt
Instructions

Separate the eggs. Beat the yolks with beer and flour and let rest for about 30 minutes.

Heat the oil to 170 °C. Cut the pineapple into bite-sized pieces. Wash, halve, core, and cut the apples into wedges. Peel and slice the bananas.

Whisk the whites with salt until stiff peaks form and fold into the yolk-beer mixture. Coat each fruit portion in flour, shake off excess, then dip individually into the batter. Fry 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired and serve with lingonberry syrup or another fruit syrup.
