Fruit Bread Braid

Ingredients
- 500 g flour
- 42 g fresh yeast
- 70 g sugar
- 225 ml lukewarm milk
- 125 g butter
- 1 pinch salt
- 200 g exotic mixed dried fruit
- 200 g powdered sugar
- 4 tbsp Lemon juice

Stir half the sugar into a little milk, put the flour in a bowl, press a well in the middle, crumble the yeast into it, stir with the milk, dust the rim with a bit of flour, cover and let rise in a warm place for 20 minutes. Knead the remaining sugar, butter, and salt together, add enough milk until an elastic dough forms, knead vigorously, cover and let rise for 30 minutes.

Dice the fruit, fold into the dough, divide into three portions, roll each into strands. Braid the strands, bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for 45 minutes, then cool. Mix powdered sugar with lemon juice, brush over the cooled braid.
