Ingredients

  • 300 g Strawberries
  • 4 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp orange honey
  • 1 untreated orange
  • 1 Frisian lettuce
  • 140 g round goat cheese (2 rounds of goat cheese)
  • 100 g Blackberries
  • 4 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp blackberry liqueur

Instructions

  1. 1.

Wash, clean and halve or quarter the strawberries. Mix balsamic vinegar with honey in a pot. Wash the orange hot and grate some peel into the vinegar. Grate the remaining peel onto a plate and set aside.

  2. 2.

Squeeze the orange and pour four tablespoons of juice into the pot. Reduce everything to a syrup and let it cool before pouring over the strawberries. Cover and let sit for an hour.

  3. 3.

Clean, wash, dry and toss the lettuce onto two plates. Drain the goat cheese and brown under a hot oven grill in 4 to 6 minutes. Rinse the blackberries, wash them and drain well.

  4. 4.

Melt powdered sugar in a pan into a light caramel. Stir in the liqueur and heat until the caramel liquefies again. Add the blackberries. Arrange blackberries, cheese, strawberries and remaining orange peel on the salad.
