Ingredients
- 4 chicken breast fillets (about 160 g each)
- 225 g rice flour
- 325 ml cold water
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- 1 pinch Curry powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 chili pepper
- 80 g sweet‑sour chili sauce
- 2 tbsp Lime juice
- 1 tsp Honey
- oil for frying
- rice flour for coating

Wash, pat dry and cut the chicken breasts into roughly equal strips. Whisk the rice flour with water until smooth. Add egg yolks, cayenne pepper, curry powder, and salt; mix to a thick batter. Adjust water if needed. Coat each strip in a little flour, tap off excess, then dip in batter. Fry portions in hot oil for 3‑4 minutes until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.

Wash the chili pepper and slice into rings. Enhance the sweet‑sour sauce with lime juice and honey. Serve the chicken with the sauce, sprinkled with optional lime zest.
