Ingredients

  • 1 whole roast chicken
  • Salt
  • pepper (ground)
  • paprika powder
  • 2 sprigs Rosemary
  • 200 ml dry white wine

Instructions

    Wash inside and outside of the chicken, pat dry, then rub with salt and pepper and sprinkle paprika powder.

    Insert rosemary sprigs into the cavity and place the chicken in the bratschlauch. Pour wine into the pouch, seal it tightly, and poke small holes as indicated on the package instructions.

    Place the chicken wrapped in bratschlauch on a roasting rack in a preheated oven at 180°C and bake for about 50 minutes. Remove the finished roast chicken from the oven, carefully cut open the foil, take out the chicken, pour the roasting liquid into a saucepan and prepare a sauce as desired.
