Fried Potato Slices

Spoonsparrow fried potato slices taste delicious every time. Crispy, lightly salted and simply good.

Ingredients

  • 500 g waxy potatoes
  • plant oil (for frying)
  • Salt

Instructions

    Wash the potatoes thoroughly and dry them. With the skin on, shave into thin slices, wash again, and pat dry with kitchen paper.

    Heat the oil in a wide pot or deep fryer until small bubbles appear around a wooden spoon placed inside. Fry the potato slices in batches for 2-3 minutes in a frying basket or sieve, ensuring they do not yet take color. Remove and drain on paper towels or a rack.
