Fried Cauliflower

Spoonsparrow fried cauliflower pairs wonderfully with meat, fish or other vegetables.

Ingredients

  • 200 g Flour
  • 200 g corn starch
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • Salt
  • ground pepper
  • 2 kg cauliflower
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 tbsp chopped mint
  • 450 g yogurt
  • frying oil

Instructions

    Whisk together flour, starch, 450 ml water, oil, chili powder, 1 tsp salt and pepper until smooth; let rest for about 15 minutes.

    Wash the cauliflower and cut into florets.

  3. 3.

    Mix yogurt with herbs, season to taste. Heat frying fat.

  4. 4.

    Dip cauliflower portions in batter, drain, and fry in hot fat until golden brown. Drain on kitchen paper.

    Keep warm at 70°C in oven until all florets are ready. Serve with mint dip.
