  • 100 ml milk (3.5% fat)
  • 4 slices Whole grain toast
  • 2 slices turkey ham
  • 2 slices cheese (e.g., Chester)
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • maple syrup

Instructions

    Whisk the eggs with milk. Heat butter in a pan. Briefly dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture and cook on medium heat in butter until golden brown on both sides.

    Top two slices with ham and cheese, then cover with the remaining slices. Serve immediately—optionally cut diagonally and drizzle with maple syrup.
