Fragrant Mango Punch

Ingredients

  • 5 untreated limes
  • 2 handfuls mint
  • 3 mangos
  • 1 cm ginger
  • 60 g honey

Instructions

    Squeeze two limes, wash the remaining ones hot and slice them thinly. Rinse the mint and pluck the leaves. Cut off the mango skin with a sharp knife or paring knife and remove the flesh from the pit. Dice the flesh into large cubes. Peel the ginger and slice it thinly.

    Fill 800 ml water in a pot and add the lime juice, half the mint leaves, half the mango cubes, the ginger and honey. Simmer gently for about 10 minutes, then strain through a sieve. Chill the punch for about 2 hours.

    For serving add the remaining lime slices, mint and mango pieces to the punch.
