Foil Potato

Ingredients

  • 4 large even potatoes (starchy)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped parsley
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped dill
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped basil
  • Salt
  • pepper (ground)
  • aluminum foil

Instructions

    Wash and brush the potatoes thoroughly. Rub all over with oil.

    Wrap each potato in aluminum foil and place on a rack in an oven preheated to 200°C, bake for about 1 hour until tender.

  3. 3.

    Meanwhile, mix butter with a pinch of salt and the herbs. Press into a small dish and refrigerate.

    Open the foil, cut each potato lengthwise, season with salt and pepper, top with a generous spoonful of herb butter, and serve hot.
