Ingredients

  • 150 g flour
  • 350 ml milk
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 sachet vanilla sugar
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • Salt
  • 2 untreated oranges
  • 100 g butter
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 tbsp cognac
  • 1 tbsp orange liqueur

Instructions

  1. 1.

Whisk the flour, milk, egg, sugar, vanilla sugar, oil and a pinch of salt into a liquid batter and let rest for 1 hour. Rinse the oranges hot, pat dry, zest with a zester and juice the fruit.

  2. 2.

Melt 50 g butter with the sugar in a pan, add the orange zest and juice and simmer for 5 minutes. Bake 8 crepes from the batter using the remaining butter. Fold each crepe twice over to form a triangle. Place four triangles in a pan, pour the orange-sugar mixture, cognac and orange liqueur over them, warm and briefly flambé. Serve the flambéed crêpes immediately.
