Ingredients

  • 1 onion
  • 300 g smoked fish fillet (e.g., trout)
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp crème fraîche
  • 1 tsp horseradish (jarred)
  • 2 tbsp chives
  • 1 splash Lemon juice
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • 4 large slices smoked salmon

Instructions

    Peel and finely dice the onion. In a bowl, flake or mash the smoked fish with a fork. Add the onion, mayonnaise, crème fraîche, horseradish, and chives; mix well. Season with lemon juice and pepper.

    Lay one slice of smoked salmon on a small ladle (or cover with plastic wrap) and fill it with the salad. Carefully lift the ladle and arrange the portions on plates.

    Serve with optional bread chips alongside the fish salad.
