Ingredients
- 100 g flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- Salt
- pepper (ground)
- 125 ml milk
- 1 egg
- 500 g shellfish fillet (pre‑cooked)
- vegetable oil (for frying)
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp yogurt
- 1 tbsp coarsely chopped herbs
- Salt
- Pepper
- Lemon juice
- 4 taco shells
- lime wedge (for garnish)
- parsley (for garnish)
Instructions

In a bowl whisk the flour with baking powder, salt, pepper and milk into a smooth batter. Add the egg and mix well until the batter is thick enough to flow from a whisk. Rinse the fish fillets and pat dry. Cut each fillet into about 0.5 cm thin slices and gently dip them in the batter.

Heat oil to about 175°C and fry the battered fish pieces in batches for 1–2 minutes until golden brown. Flip so they brown evenly.
