Ingredients
- 1 sour apple
- 2 onions
- 1 Garlic clove
- 400 ml apple cider vinegar
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp peppercorns
- 2 cloves
- 50 g yellow mustard powder
- 50 g brown mustard powder
- Salt

Peel the apple, onions and garlic, remove the core of the apple and cut everything into coarse pieces. Combine with vinegar, bay leaf, peppercorns and cloves in a pot and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer gently for about 20 minutes.

Place the yellow and brown mustard powders in a bowl and stir while pouring the cooked liquid through a sieve into it. Season with salt and let cool. Fill hot-washed jars, seal and let rest for at least 2 days.
