Ingredients

  • 300 g puff pastry
  • 1 lemon (juice)
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 6 figs

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 200°C fan.

    Roll out the puff pastry and cut into four circles (~15 cm diameter). Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and prick each circle several times with a fork, leaving a ~1 cm border. Whisk together lemon juice and honey, then brush the pastry circles with this mixture. Slice figs and arrange them fan‑shaped over the pastry, keeping the border free. Brush the figs with the honey‑lemon glaze and bake for about 20 minutes until golden brown.

    Remove from oven and cool on a wire rack.
