- 3 tbsp butter
- 400 g puff pastry
- 50 g red currant jam
- 3 tbsp honey
- 3 large figs
- 45 g walnut kernels
Instructions
-
1.
Preheat oven to 200°C (392°F) with upper and lower heat.
-
2.
Melt the butter and use 1-2 tbsp to coat the bottom of a springform pan, then remove the rim. Roll out the pastry, cut to fit the pan, and place it inside. Warm the jam with 1-2 tbsp honey and spread over the pastry, leaving about a 3 cm border. Wash the figs, pat dry, and slice 2-3 into rounds. Cut a cross on the remaining fig and place in the center of the tart; arrange the sliced figs around it. Drizzle with the remaining honey. Brush the rim with leftover butter.

3.
Bake for about 20 minutes. Remove, let cool slightly, then sprinkle chopped walnuts. Serve warm or chilled as desired.
