Fig Salad with Raw Ham, Mozzarella and Arugula

Ingredients

  • 200 g arugula
  • 200 g mozzarella
  • 12 ripe figs
  • 12 slices Parma ham
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • white bread (for serving)

Instructions

    Wash, rinse, and dry the arugula. Drain the mozzarella and cut it into cubes. Wash the figs and slice them lengthwise into quarters.

    Form nests of Parma ham and place a slightly separated fig in each nest.

    Arrange the arugula mixed with mozzarella on plates and top with the fig-filled ham nests. Whisk vinegar with oil, season with salt and pepper, and drizzle over the salad. Serve with white bread.
