Fennel-Pear Salad

The figure-friendly fennel-pear salad gives a solid boost to vitamin stores, and the high fiber content ensures a satiating effect.

Ingredients

  • 1 bulb fennel (1 small fennel bulb)
  • 75 g pears (0.5 pears)
  • 0.5 lime
  • 0.5 bunch watercress
  • 0.5 tsp sesame oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

    Wash the fennel, drain and trim it. Halve the pears again and remove the seeds.

    Grate the fennel and pear on a box grater into thin slices and place them in a bowl. Squeeze the lime and drizzle the juice over as desired.

    Wash the watercress, shake off excess moisture and cut into bite-sized pieces.

    Mix the watercress with the fennel and pear. Drizzle the salad with sesame oil, season with salt and pepper, and serve.
